Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
Local population of the Ussurian tube-nosed bats, Murina ussuriensis, was studied from 2006 to 2018 using dead-leaf Mallotus japonicas traps in warm-tem- perate forests of Miike in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. A total number of 446 bats were captured and 233 bats were recaptured on the survey of bat-banding. The maximaum longevity records were five years in males and six years in females. Murina ussuriensis was rela- tively short-lived species among Chiroptera.
