Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
Three varunid crabs of the genus Cyclograpsus (C. integer, C. intermedius and C. longipes) are reported based on specimens collected from the south coast of Kyushu and the Osumi Islands, Kagoshima Prefecture, southern Japan. In this paper, new locality records are provided for C. integer from Tanegashima and Yakushima islands, and C. longipes from Kyushu and Tanegashima Island. The identifications of some previous literature records of the four species of Cyclograpsus in Japan, including C. pumilio, are also evaluated.
