Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
Tuerkayana rotundum (Quoy & Gaimard, 1824) is recorded for the first time from Yoron Island, central Ryukyus, Japan, on the basis of the specimens collected from an anchialine cave and a rocky shore in the island. In the Kagoshima Prefecture, this species was previously known only from Okinoerabu Island. Therefore, this report is the second habitat record of T. rotundum from the prefecture.
