Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
Two rare xanthid crabs, Jacforus cavatus and Metaxanthops acutus, are reported from Kagoshima and Okinawa Prefectures, southern Japan. In this paper, new locality records are provided for J. cavatus from the south coast of Kyushu (northernmost record), and M. acutus from the south coast of Kyushu (northernmost record) and Okinawa Island.
