Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
The rarely recorded anomuran sand crab, Albunea occulta Boyko, 2002, is collected from the coast of Yakushima Island, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. This is the third certain published record of the species in Japan, and also the first record of the species in Kagoshima Prefecture.
