Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
An endangered atyid shrimp, Halocaridinides
trigonophthalma (Fujino & Shokita, 1975), was
collected from an old well (Inadougo) and an anchialine cave on Yoron Island in the central Ryukyus, Japan. These represent the additional habitats for the species on this island.
