Distribution of bivalve species was surveyed at Shigetomi-higata tidal flat. Gari crassula and Moerella rutile were dominant in this tidal flat. The former showed the wider range in habitat environment than the latter. A survey of seasonal change of density and size of G. crassula indicated that the species has one and half year longevity.
