Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
Breeding of the large Japanese mole Mogera wogura in Kagoshimna Prefecture was examined using our cylinder traps. Testis and epididymis of adult males increased in size from March to May. Pregnant females were observed from March to May, and their uterus sizes were maximum in May. These results indicate that breeding peak of Mogera wogura is once in spring in Kagoshima Prefecture.
