Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
The green turban Turbo marmoratus Linnaeus, 1758 (Gastropoda: Vetigastropoda: Turbinidae) is recorded based on a specimen collected from the intertidal rocky shore of Makurazaki City, Kagoshima Prefec- ture, southern Japan. This study represents the first re- cord of T. marmoratus from the Kagoshima mainland based on the specimen.
