Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
The reef lobster Enoplometopus voigtmanni Türkay, 1989 (Crustacea: Decapoda: Enoplometopidae) is re- corded based on an adult male specimen collected from a small submarine cave at a depth of 23 m, off the southern coast of Okinoerabu Island, the Ryukyu Islands, southern Japan. The discovery of E. voigtman- ni in this study represents the first record of the species from Kagoshima Prefecture and expands its distribu- tional range to the north.
