Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
A rare bresiliid shrimp, Bresilia rufioculus Komai and Yamada, 2011, is recorded on the basis of the specimen collected from a submarine cave in the northern part of Okinawa-jima Island, the Ryukyu Is- lands, Japan. This record represents the first discovery of B. rufioculus from the island and third distributional record of the species.
