Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
Cave nesting by Calonectris leucomelas (Temminck, 1836) was observed on Kojima Island of the Tokara Group, Ryukyu Archipelago, Japan. An adult bird and an egg were observed inside the cave. This document reports observation of cave use by this species for nesting.
