Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
Balanophora subcupularis (Balanophoraceae) is recorded in Kagoshima for the first time. This is the second distribution record in Japan, following the first on the Amakusa Islands, Kumamoto Prefecture in 2016. Photographs and habitat information of the Kagoshima population are provided.
