Abstract / Introduction / Summary:

Syrnola cinctella A. Adams, 1860, a pyramidellid species was recorded from Iorigawa inlet, Southern Kyushu. Living soft parts of specimens were photographed. This species differs from S. serotina A. Adams, 1863 in having a white shell surface on each whole instead of a broad light brown band. The present species is larger in shell width than S. subcinctella Nomura, 1936.
