Abstract / Introduction / Summary:
Two specimens of Carcharhinus brevipinna (Carchar- hinidae) (751−798 mm total length) were collected from the coast of Miyazaki Prefecture, eastern Kyushu, southern Japan. The present specimens represent the first reliable records of the species from the prefecture.
